Data Collection
Kindleify is a local CLI tool that processes all data on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. When you convert web pages or PDFs, the processing happens entirely on your local machine.
Credentials Storage
If you choose to use the email delivery feature, your Kindle email address and sender credentials are stored locally on your device using your system's secure storage mechanisms. These credentials are only used to send EPUB files to your Kindle and are never shared with any third party.
Third-Party Services
Kindleify may send EPUB files via email through standard SMTP protocols. The only data transmitted is the EPUB file itself to your specified Kindle email address. We do not use any analytics or tracking services.
Open Source
Kindleify is open source software. You can review the entire source code on GitHub to verify that no data is collected or transmitted beyond what is explicitly required for the tool's functionality.
